No matter which option you choose, you can depend on the Honda Civic to provide a strong performance whether it’s running errands in Somersworth or your daily commute. Designed to help you save more by getting more out of the Honda fuel economy, the available Civic trim levels and transmissions are:
- Honda Civic Sedan LX with CVT: 30 mpg city/38 mpg highway*
- Honda Civic Sedan Sport with CVT: 29 mpg city/37 mpg highway*
- Honda Civic Sedan Sport with 6-Speed Manual Transmission: 25 mpg city/36 mpg highway*

Honda Civic Fuel Economy: Two Engines with Eco Assist System
Due to its two engine configuration options, the Honda Civic MPG ratings are impressive thanks to a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that generates 158 hp and 138 lb-ft of torque as well as a 1.5L turbo 4-cylinder engine which delivers 174 hp and between 162 – 167 lb-ft of torque. For even more sustainability, drivers can equip either engine configuration with the Eco Assist System which enables you to save more on fuel consumption in these ways:
- First, thanks to a color-changing display around the speedometer, the system tells you how fuel-efficient your driving habits are. For example, if the display is green, your driving habits are efficient; if it’s blue, you’re probably wasting fuel.
- Second, the Eco Assist System can be had with an available ECON button, which you can push to change the vehicle’s performance profile to select fuel conservation.
